Existence of Vampires had always had its beliefs and biases but very rarely people have found the evidences to support their existence. Although perpetually all branches of science & literature confirmed their endurance.

According to History, Elizabeth Bathory has been described as one of the very 'first' and 'original' Vampire. Elizabeth took birth in one of the wealthiest and powerful family of Transylvania,1560. It all started with one blind ritual of bathory family, they had a belief that their blood is so pure that if they'll marry someone outside their family blood will get polluted. So, they started with a custom of marriage within the family. The custom continues till it leads to deadly results in the family and finally to menacing Elizabeth.
She was married-off at the age of 15, and while her husband was busy in business and combats. She got involved in vice and sin. Her favorite pass time is to watch her maids in pain, she used to ask her subordinates to tore her maid's clothes and torture them till they are in severe pain. Gradually she started slashing their skins to saw blood coming out of it. After death of her husband she somehow extended her pass time to its extreme.She use to mark cuts at the vital organs of her maids until she gets calm and peace. At around age of 40, She had developed a belief that in order to occlude process of aging she should take bath in cistern filled with the blood of young maids. Serially for eternal youth she started rubbing their blood on her skin which finally leads to habit of drinking their blood.
Once officials came to know about the eerie tale of vicious killing they found that over 650 victims were testified by Elizabeth. Later, she was imprisoned in her own castle until her death on 21 August, 1614.
Literature has its own sets of vampire tales, Bram Stoker had written legend of Dracula. It has been said he had inspiration of the character from Vlan III the Impaler. Hindi Literature had also been outspoken when it calls for tales about vampire. Vikram-Betal Story described 'Betal' as a vampire who exasperate Raja Vikramaditya.
Vampire and their evidence found a central place in heart of Media as well. On 6 June,2012 BBC news reported story about 'Vampire' skeletons found in Bulgaria near black sea, Iron rods were pierced through their chest to stop them from turning into vampire. Similarly few skulls were found with the bricks in their mouth, which may be probably to stop them from rising again to suck human blood In similar context on 29 Nov,2012 ABC news reported about the threat of vampires in Serbian village.
Science although doesn't support any such thing like Vampires in this world of extreme technology and advancement but somewhere it reluctantly
agree that Blood-sucking animals are part of our world. Few of them
are- Vampire bats (Desmodontinae), Mosquito (Culicidae), Leech (Hirudinea), Bedbugs (Cimex lectularius) and so on.
If there exists so many animals and plants species which through out their life feed on blood then there is quite a possibility that somewhere there will be human as well craving for the BLOOD.
